Halo Brandbank

HALO Brandbank is a new agency with years of experience helping
brands. HALO was founded by Shaun Swanger and Jennifer Cordingley in 2010. Jen and Shaun joined forces after recognising the need for an Australian agency dedicated to helping retail brands that serve women.

Theirs is a unique partnership, combining client side insight with agency side ingenuity. Their years of experience means they understand both the behaviour and the motivations of the female shopper and how to translate this into effective cross-media campaigns. This understanding comes from years spent studying the spending patterns of women in their favourite shopping environment, the shopping centre.

Shaun has always worked with companies that serve Most recently Shaun was the Chief Operating Officer for AMP Capital Shopping Centres where he oversaw the branding and marketing of 41 shopping centres, including names you know like Pacific Fair, Warringah Mall, Macquarie Centre, Knox Shopping Centre, and Garden City Booragoon as well as those local centres that you visit everyday.


As COO he touched every part of the business and understood that marketing has a role in leading the business as well as serving it.


Shaun created the shopping centre industry's first ever national celebrity endorsement campaign, appointing former model and Australian socialite Kate Fischer as the face of AMP Capital Shopping Centres and its individual centres. This three-year campaign combined sales driving promotions, brand advertising, sponsorship and publicity, and turned around traffic and sales. This campaign won the inaugural Shopping Centre News Australian Marketing Awards' Australian Campaign of the Year Award. Shaun also oversaw the redevelopment and relaunch marketing campaigns for several iconic retail developments.


Prior to AMP, Shaun was at Westfield as National Promotions Manager of Westfield Australia.


Shaun's client side experience gives him a business-first perspective on marketing.

 

Jennifer Cordingley
JENNIFER CORDINGLEY


Jen's agency career has introduced her to too many brands to count. In late 2008 Jen sold her successful Sydney agency, Brand Marque. During her five years the business was twice named in the BRW's annual list of Australia's fastest growing companies and later Jen was included in that publication's list of successful Australian female entrepreneurs.


Happily Jen worked as strategist with AMP Capital Shopping Centres on their many successful campaigns. The agency provided publicity and advertising services as well as events, environmental promotion, digital and business-to-business campaigns.


The agency also launched and campaigned the Thomas Dux brand, Woolworths' premium food grocer, worked with jeweller Angus & Coote and manchester retailer My House. Jen has also worked extensively with pro-bono client CREATE Foundation. During Jen's time the agency never lost a client.


Prior to starting Brand Marque Jen worked with IdeaWorks on brands like Westfield, Vodafone, Rothschild as well as retailers like Downtown Duty Free, Amber Tiles, Greater Union, Colorado, Noni B, Oz Design… and so many more.
